Gambit win DreamHack ZOWIE Open Winter!

Gambit Esports took down Renegades in the grand final of DreamHack ZOWIE Open Winter 2016 to take the championship title in the final DreamHack of the year. They will take home $50 000 and a trophy.

  • Gambit Esports 2-0 Renegades – nuke 16-12, cobblestone 16-10

The grand final of the tournament was closed out after two maps. Gambit dominated nuke since the very beginning, finishing the first half 12-3. Renegades were doing their best to catch up but eventually Gambit closed it out 16-12. The opening half of cobblestone wasn’t that one sided, but Gambit were on a 10-5 lead. Zeus & co. quickly made it 15th round and later on won 16-10.

  1. Gambit Esports – $50 000
  2. Renegades – $20 000
  3. Team Kinguin, GODSENT – $10 000
