NiP win Intel Extreme Masters Oakland

Ninjas in Pyjamas have beaten SK Gaming 2:1 in the grand final of Intel Extreme Masters Oakland to grab the first place prize of $128,000.

Both teams have made their way to the grand final after going through quarterfinals. The Brazilians of SK Gaming have defeated G2 Esports and Astralis, while Ninjas in Pyjamas won with Immortals and FaZe Clan.

In the first game of the grand final team led by Gabriel „FalleN” Toledo have totally smashed their opponents. SK Gaming have won on Train 16-4. After a really painful defeat the players of NiP have shown different face. Swedish side have managed to win on Cache and Cobblestone – both map finished with 16-14 score.

IEM Oakland’s final standings:

  • 1. Ninjas in Pyjamas – $125,000 + $3,000 for the group wins
  • 2. SK Gaming – $50,000 + $3,000 for the group wins
  • 3-4. FaZe Clan – $25,000 + $5,000 for the group wins
  • 3-4. Astralis – $25,000 + $4,000 for the group wins
