TSM and Splyce drop out of IEM Oakland

Grzegorz Łatka | 2 listopada 2016, 12:37

Two teams have decided to withdraw from the League of Legends competition at Intel Extreme Masters Oakland. Those two are Team SoloMid and Splyce.

Team SoloMid will not participate in the tournament due to Doublelift’s decision about not playing competitively during the upcoming Spring split. The North American organisation is currently looking for a new marksman. Splyce turned down an invitation for IEM Oakland and YamatoCannon explained why in the following statement: „The event’s scheduled dates (Nov 19th-20th) would not allow us to put in enough time and work that would satisfy the standard we held for ourselves throughout the season’s practice regimen”.

Intel Extreme Masters Oakland will take place on November 19-20. The following teams are expected to take part in the LoL competition: Immortals, I May, Flash Wolves, INTZ e-Sports and The Chiefs eSports Club.
