It was a tough battle for Natus Vincere but they eventually took down Virtus.pro in the grand final of ESL One New York. s1mple and his teammates will go back home $125 000 richer.

  • Virtus.pro 1-2 Natus Vincere – 16-3 Cobblestone, 8-16 Train, 17-19 Mirage

On the first map we saw Virtus.plow at its best. Great individual plays of VP players gave them a 16-3 victory on Cobblestone. When we moved to Train it was a complete turnaround. Natus Vincere went off winning the second map 16-8 and taking us to third one. Virtus.pro were doing great on T side but they didn’t really capitalize on it and were just 8-7 up at the halfway. After another 15 rounds it was 15-15 and an overtime was needed. Na`Vi made it 19-17 to take the series 2-1.

1. Natus Vincere – $125 000
2. Virtus.pro – $50 000
3 – 4. Team Liquid, SK Gaming – $25 000
5 – 6. OpTic Gaming, Fnatic – $8 500
7. Astralis – $5 000
