TSM part ways with Overwatch squad

Team SoloMid have parted ways with their Overwatch squad, the North American organisation announced. From now on the team will be representing compLexity Gaming.

What’s interesting, cooperation between Code 7 players and TSM has lasted just about 2 weeks. It’s even more surprising that it is already over as Overwatch Atlantic Showdown is set to start at August 20th and ex-TSM players will take part in this one. Andy „Reginald” Dinh issued the following statement:

As a brand, TSM has always been about hard work and performance. I did not want our legacy to be associated with allegations of dubious behavior and I will always hold my brand to the highest standard. I still believe that the guys can prove their skill and clear their names through time and hope that the Overwatch scene can give them another chance regardless of this decision

It turned out that two of their players had one-year bans on CEVO as they were caught cheating in a CS:GO tournament. However, the North American teams hasn’t been homeless for a long time. They were already signed by compLexity Gaming.

compLexity Gaming will be represented by:

  • Jake „torkTJO” Lepoff
  • Nicolas „NicolasTJO” Aubin
  • Joey „jkw” Wavering
  • Joe „Joemeister” Gramano
  • Jackson „Shake” Kaplan
  • Anthony „harbleu” Ballo
